| Conference Description
Join us for the NORTHERN VIRGINIA EVENTS NETWORK (NoVEN) Annual Conference. Comprised of the "THE MAIN EVENT," on Saturday, April 10th, and a special preview workshop "PLANNING PROGRAMS & EVENTS IN A WEB 2.0 WORLD," the NoVEN Annual Conference is an outstanding one-stop shot for producers of public and private events, programs, and festivals in Northern Virginia. Each day can be attended separately, or in combination at a discount.
|
| The "MAIN" workshop replaces Celebrate Fairfax's popular EVENTS101 Workshop, with almost 2 dozen topics including sponsorships and fundraising, PR and media communications, operations, booking and managing entertainment, achieving event objectives, and, new this year, a student track provided for future event planners studying at George Mason, Northern Virginia Community College, the George Washington University and other area institutions. For a complete schedule of sessions, topics and additional information click here, or register by clicking here. Formerly Events101, the NoVEN Annual Conference is an expansion of the Events101 workshop designed for event professionals of all levels of experience. While the goal of Events101 was to educate, the NoVEN Annual Conference takes Events101 to the next level; Offering networking, resource sharing and both personal and professional developement.
The NoVEN Annual Conference is a one-of-a-kind workshop for people who plan public festivals, events and other programs. As accessible and informative for new or volunteer event producers as it is to seasoned event professionals, the conference delivers in-depth educational sessions on the nuts and bolts of community and public event planning.
Registration FeesSingle day registration for Friday, April 9th is $60. Single day registration for Saturday, April 10th is $45. Register for both days and receive a two-day registration rate of $79. Register as a student for Saturday only and receive a student rate of $20.
