Northern Virginia is made special by its hi-tech way of life, and Celebrate Fairfax! has brought this experience to life with SciTech, an interactive playground of hi-tech (and low-tech!) activities to please all ages.  Inside the SciTech Center are a dozen exciting and imaginative activities and exhibits created by some of Northern Viriginia's best hi-tech companies.  

Many of the companies who participate design a hands-on application of their product line or services that visitors can try out, i.e. typing without a keyboard, making helicopters, launching hand-made rockets, and taking trivia challenges. Other past activites included how to make slime, building a city of Legos, giving astronaut tests and hosting Virtual Reality NASCAR races.
