Celebrate Fairfax!, Northern Virginia’s largest community-wide celebration, arrives June 8-10, 2012 to the Fairfax County Government Center.  Presented by Celebrate Fairfax, Inc, the annual festival hosts tens of thousands of visitors during the three-day run.   The 25-acre site is magically filled with fascinating sights and sounds as more than 400 exhibitors, food vendors, crafters and interactive activities are included in the annual celebration. Celebrate Fairfax! showcases live concerts on seven stages and has a wide variety of other activities and programs for all ages including: ExxonMobil Children's Avenue, a petting zoo, karaoke contest, carnival rides, and great festival foods.  Another fun free activity for kids is the Inova Train Ride to Good Health located in ExxonMobil Children's Avenue.   Nightly fireworks, presented by SAIC, are a highlight of the festival, and one of many great family programs.  This year's Bud Light Main Stage features top national headline performers: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, The Legwarmers and the Legends of Hip-Hop featuring Young MC, Rob Base, DJ Kool, Digital Underground and hosted by Flavor Flav!

 
A recipient of one of the International Festivals and Events Association's top honors, Celebrate Fairfax was named a Bronze Pinnacle Award winner in 2005 for its long-time quality and success.  The festival was also a 2006 honoree as one of the Top 20 events in the Southeastern United States.
